Okomesan uses a small and round rice variety with a pearly appearance and high absorption capacity. It is the classic "Originario" which was selected in Italy in the early 1900s and has maintained the original characteristics of the Japanese varieties from which it derives.
It is milled with Japanese methods, to obtain a product that, when cooked, appears white and without imperfections, soft but with a certain resistance to chewing, sticky and above all "good", which means it has the right amount of amylose, proteins and humidity.
We recommend using it within the month once the package has been opened and within 3 months of purchase for optimal consumption.
